BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Your Recreation Center offers a before and after school program that runs the duration of the school year with day camps planned to fill in the school holidays. The program runs from 6:30 am until the children leave for school and then from immediately after school until 6:30 pm. Transportation is provided to and from Barnett and James Dukes Elementary schools. With the help of our wonderful counselors your children’s homework will be a breeze. Registration is on a monthly basis. *Non SDCEA property owners pay an additional $5.00 per month.

Morning Class:
Early riser: 6:30-8:00 am COST: $80.75 or $4.75 per morning.
Begin your morning with a variety of activities that start your day off right!
After School:
Monday :" SAY IT WITH FLOWERS"
2:15-6:30 pm COST: $38.00
With the help of our children, the center will be in full bloom.
From paper flowers to planting flowers, the Rec. Center will be brightened up for spring.
Tuesday: "TRACK AND FIELD"
2:15-6:30 pm COST: $38.00
We will be learning about or brushing up on the sporting events at a track meet. On our final day we will hold our own Field Day here at the Rec. Center.
Wednesday: "PARK FUN"
1:00-6:30 pm COST: $28.50 (If Wednesdays only - $37.50)
Every Wednesday this month we will venture out and explore a different part of the park ie. playground, horse shoe pits, volleyball court and more.........
Thursday: "ANIMAL ARTISTRY"
2:15-6:30 pm COST: $28.50
Don't miss out as we learn how to draw a different animal each week. We may even create some new ones of our own.
Friday: "AT THE MOVIES"
2:15-6:30 pm COST: $28.50
Each week we'll watch a different type of movie, from fantasy to
sports and everything in between. We'll supply the popcorn!

Have your child join us at the Ramona Oaks Recreation Center on their days off school. Whether you need one day or all five, we are here for you.

Camp runs from 8:30-4:30 with extended care available from

SUMMER IMAGICAMP 2013 Wild ‘Bout Board Games!
Join us as each week will be the adventure of a lifetime. We’ll highlight a favorite board game and explore the unique possibilities found there in. Crafts will be made, science and nature explored, foods prepared, and of course, games played, all to make a memorable summer for your camper.
Ages 5-11 $120.00 per full week, unless otherwise noted. Camp hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Extended care available 6:30 - 8:30am @ $2.00 per day; 4:30 - 6:30pm @ $2.00 per day.
WEEK #1 - “Jumanji” 6/17 -6/21
Through the jungles, rainforests and deserts of faraway lands we will learn about the animals found there and how they manage to live in these unusual places.
Field Trip: Movies & Hilleary Park.
WEEK #2 - “Chutes & Ladders” 6/24 – 6/28
Join us on this week of obstacle courses and relays. We will learn about playing and analyzing strategies together as a team. Creating the ultimate obstacle course will be the challenge of this week.

WEEK #3 - “Monopoly” 7/1 - 7/5 (4-day week) (closed 4th of July)
Come and own your own piece of the Amusement Park! We will travel around our park and collect prizes from different carnival games, but if stop to watch the fireworks it will cost you! Field Trip: Boomers COST: $125.00 (This includes a game package)
WEEK #4 - “Ouiji Board” 7/8 - 7/12
Slumber party fun is what’s in store for this week. Each group will create their own games, snacks and crafts that will be shared by all on Fridays “Pajama Party.”

WEEK #5 - “Battleship” 7/15 - 7/19
Get on board for an adventure on the high seas. Building a ship, competing in a regatta and discovering sea life will make all you land lubbers thirst for the open waters.

Who, What, When, Where, and Why? All questions used to make for a memorable week of investigating and discovering answers to our scavenger hunts that each group will design.

Let’s get messy! There will be ooey gooey sweet and chewy creations from Play DOH to candy. Experiment to create that one sweet treat like no other.

Spot it and you win! A sharp eye and little bit of speed is all you need to enjoy this extraordinary sport experience. Healthy competition and team spirit will top off this week. Field Trip: Wave Water Park COST: $150.00 (This includes transportation, admission to park and lunch)
WEEK #9 - “Twister” 8/12 - 8/16
Want to add a little twist of fun into summer camp? This week we be mixing up the groups and work to together for our Twister tournament. Got balance? Will your group fall? Field Trip: Torrey Pines Beach
WEEK #10 - “Apples to Apples” 8/19 - 8/23
Who could have guessed that summer would fly by and be soooo much FUN! Just like apples to Apples we will judge the best match for most creative skits, humorous moments, interesting events, and best costumes from our summer.

MAD SCIENCE 2013
All Stars July 8th-12th Cost: $120.00
Ages 5-10 9:00am-12:00pm
Learn about famous scientists and inventors who were all-stars in their field of expertise. Together with your teammates you will build super structures, create a volcanic eruption and examine rocks formed from volcanic magma. Construct a kite and study aerodynamics, make a star chart while discovering the secret behind the stars. Take home projects include a rocket racer, star locater, kite, animal track, crystal garden and more!

With the coming of summer, we are all in a 'tropical mood'. We will experience a flavor of the sea while making sandcastles, racing boats, and tasting island delicacies. You won't want to miss this evening of fun.

SATURDAY PARK PLAYDAY – April 6th
Ages 4-12 Cost $10 Must call to reserve a spot.
Join us on the first Saturday of each month from 1-5pm. We want to share the FUN that can be found at Ramona Oaks Park and the Recreation Center. Your child will have a ridiculously good time making crafts, playing games and meeting new or old friends.
