The Ramona Oaks Park and Bandstand area may only be used by S.D.C.E. property owners their dependents and guests, for family picnics, birthday parties, residents weddings, anniversary parties, and association sanctioned club or organization events. The Park or Bandstand may not be reserved for non-association sponsored community events, company picnics, or non-resident weddings, unless prior Board approval has been made. Proper identification is required.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
1. The Park and picnic area usage is on first come first serve basis;
A. Portions of the park may be reserved through the SDCEA Recreation Department for Homeowner picnics, association sanctioned clubs and organizations only, i.e. Golf Club, Saddle Club, Tennis Club, Scout Groups, etc. Picnic areas shall not be reserved on observed holidays. At least one area shall remain available at all times.
B. There is no fee for Property Owners or Association Groups using the park.
2. There will be a charge of $100.00 for any Organization/Company event that does not fall under Section (B) and which also has prior board approval.
3. The Bandstand and dance area must be reserved through the Recreation Department.
A. A reservation and cleaning/damage deposit must be on file with the Recreation Department before your reservation will be secured.
4. A $100.00 cleaning deposit is required. It is refundable if the area is left in a clean and orderly manner.
5. All electrical outlets must be reserved through the Recreation Department. A $5.00 an hour/3 hour minimum rental fee will be charged.
6. The reservation is only for the Bandstand, dance area, and ½ of adjoining picnic tables (8).
7. There will be a notice board placed near the Bandstand to notify the public of its usage (date, time and user).
8. All prepaid reservations have priority over walk in park users.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Usage of the Ramona Oaks Park and its bandstand are between the hours of 8:00 am to sunset, unless a Board approved contract states otherwise. All contractual events will have a curfew of no later than 10:00pm.
2. Any resident function, club activity, or group of persons exceeding 75 in number which wishes to hold, conduct, or participate in any celebration must have the Recreation Departments approval or may need prior Board approval.
3. Any electrical outlet usage for Jumps or catering event must be reserved thru Recreation Department
4. The volume of musical groups, radios, tape players, etc. should not interfere with the activities or pleasure of others using the park. If any time the volume level does interfere with activities or near by resident’s users may be asked to decrease volume or turn off equipment.
5. No carnival rides or pony rides may be brought into park area (unless Board approved for community events)
6. Responsible adults with a maximum child/adult ratio of 12/1 must supervise all activities for children and young adults, unless prior arrangements are made.
7. All vehicles and horses must be kept out of the park. The use of skateboards or recreational use of bicycles is prohibited in the park.
8. Dogs are allowed in the open area of the park, except during community events. Dogs are NOT permitted in the playground area at any time. Your dog must be leashed and under your control at all times. You also will be responsible to clean up after your animal.
9. Fires: No open fires are allowed. No pits may be dug for barbecuing. Existing and free standing BBQ’s are to be used.
10. Athletic activities should be confined to designated areas, i.e. Horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, etc. Casual games of softball, touch football, soccer, etc. on the grass should not interfere with the safety and pleasure of others using the park.
11. Overnight camping is not permitted, unless Board approved for community events.
12. Parents will be held responsible for the behavior and activity of their children, dependents and their guests.
13. If at any time, any event exceeds the scope of its intent, management reserves the right to immediately deny the use of the park.
