Employees and Volunteers of the Month for January
Kicking off the New Year we’d like to acknowledge our Recreation Staff; Amy Holsapple, Chris Riedler and Joanne Rivera as “Employees and Volunteers of the Month”. Many of the events that our Recreation department hosts happen during the public’s leisure time. After the ladies cover a full week of programs to enhance your children’s day they work and volunteer on the weekends and holidays to provide fun for the whole family.
Each of them plays a key role in contributing to the success of the department. Chris and Amy share in the position of recreation coordinator. Chris’ skill is organization. You never have to ask nor remind her to complete her job responsibilities. Amy’s strong suit is her connection to the children, parents and staff. She is fun and loving yet knows the limits of play and safety. Joanne’s strength is her customer service. She is extremely helpful, follows through with phones and enjoys assisting our customers, adult and children alike. These ladies have accumulated 32 years of service; Amy has 15 years, Chris has 14 and Joanne 3 years.
A quick review of the 2012 “Recreation Activities Calendar” reflects well over 50 events hosted by the incredible Recreation Team. Our sincerest “Thank you” Amy, Chris and Joanne for all you do to provide our community with memorable celebrations throughout the year.
