Our Recreation Center offers an after-school program that runs the duration of the school year, with day camps filling in during school holidays. The program runs after school until 6:00 pm. Transportation is provided from Barnett and James Dukes Elementary schools. With the help of our wonderful counselors, your child will enjoy their afternoons. The Recreation Department is located at 25386 Pappas Road, right next to Ramona Oaks Park.  

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Recreation Department offers “camp” days during school holidays, for children ages 5 -12. They do not need to be currently in our program. You must pre-register by calling 760-789-4146 and pre-pay for your spot. Contact the office for current pricing and information. Children will play outside, make fun crafts, and participate in games. Please send them with a lunch, and two extra snacks for snack times.

Amazing Athletes Educational Sports Program is offering summer camp classes at Ramona Oaks Park. Our fun, active classes encourage kids to explore and develop a variety of athletic skills through the introduction of 10 different sports. Coaches break the fundamentals of each sport-based skill down into simple steps based on each child’s age and ability. During our 45-minute weekly classes, children learn the importance of patience, teamwork, and self-confidence in a non-competitive, learning-based environment that fosters a love of healthy living. Their excitement for structured physical activity promotes advancements and advantages that keep children on the path to personal well-being.
