Welcome to the San Diego Country Estates Association 2026 Election information page.


Each year, SDCEA members have the important opportunity to participate in the governance of our community by electing representatives to the Board of Directors. In April 2026, homeowners will vote to fill three open Board positions, two for a one-year term and one for a two-year term.


This page provides general information and updates as the 2026 election process progresses, helping homeowners stay informed, follow along, and most important, vote for their preferred candidates. We encourage every member to participate and make their voice count in this year’s election.

    You are hereby informed that the Association will conduct its 2026 annual meeting, where the election of directors will be held. The program is as follows:


    Annual Meeting Date and Time: April 25, 2026 at 6 PM

    Annual Meeting Location: Oaks Grille, 24157 San Vicente Road, Ramona, CA  92065 

    Adjourned Annual Meeting Date and Time*: April 28, 2026 at 4 PM

    Adjourned Annual Meeting Location*: San Vicente Room, 24157 San Vicente Road, Ramona, CA  92065

    *Adjourned meeting will only take place if quorum is not met at the annual meeting


    At this meeting, there will be a count of the votes of membership, via secret ballot, to elect three (3) directors to the Board of Directors. There are two (2) one-year terms and one (1) two-year term open. If sent via US Mail, ballots must be received by The Inspectors of Election no later than the close of business on April 24, 2026. Polls will also be open for voting prior to the election meeting from 4-6 pm on April 25, 2026 in the Oaks Grille, and from 12-2 pm on April 28, 2026 in the San Vicente Room if quorum is not met at the annual meeting. 


    Ballots will be mailed to membership on or about March 13, 2026. Each property is permitted one (1) ballot. If you elect to complete your ballot prior to the annual meeting, you may either mail it or hand-deliver your secret ballot contained within the envelope set provided in the election package to the Inspectors of Elections listed below:

    The nomination deadline for this year’s election was 3:00 PM on January 9, 2026. As of the deadline, the following eligible candidates placed their name in nomination will be listed on the ballot unless they choose to rescind their nomination prior to the preparation and distribution of the election package: 


    Lisa Blackburn, Richard Drewery, Vanessa Jerrell, Deanne Markle, Melanie Perry & Roger Rajcic


    Pursuant to Civil Code Section 5105(a)(7), as a Member of the Association, you have a right to verify the accuracy of your individual information (i.e., name, voting power and mailing or physical address/parcel number) on both the candidate registration list and voter list, at least thirty (30) days before the ballots are to be distributed. To confirm or change your information, please contact the management office.
