Celebrate Summer at SDCEA

Amy Holsapple-Lueck, Recreation Manager • May 28, 2025

We can't believe summer is upon us in the Estates! If you're looking for great experiences and a chance to meet new friends, join us at our summer camp and community events.

Summer ImagiCamp:

Our staff loves our themed 10-week summer camps, which offer a variety of adventures, including nature hikes, daily swimming, group games, fun skits, sports, a lot of crafts, special Friday activities, and, of course, amazing field trips. We have something for everyone, and we invite all to join in the fun because your children are sure to have a blast! If you don't need all 10 weeks, no worries. Just sign up for the weeks that pique your interest or fit your schedule because all our weeks are extremely fun.

Amazing Athletes:

Amazing Athletes will hold multiple classes during the week here at the beautiful Ramona Oaks Park. They offer tots classes for 18 months to 2.5 years, preschool classes for 2.5 to 5 years, and school-age classes for 5 to 10 years. Amazing Athletes is a non-competitive, multi-sport camp that helps your child develop teamwork and self-confidence while improving key areas of motor development and having fun! It could be their first experience with all types of sports. For more information, please get in touch with Taylor Dick with Amazing Athletes at northlandca@amazingathletes.com.

Summer Concerts in the Park:

Our SDCEA Summer Concert series is fun for the whole family. Join us at Ramona Oaks Park and listen to all types of music under the stars. Our concerts are held on the first and third Saturdays of the month from June to October (our first concert in July will be at The SDCEA Fourth of July Celebration). Bring chairs, blankets, and your dancing shoes, but please remember to leave your 4-legged friends at home.

View all concert dates here.

Fourth of July Celebration:

For a fun family event on the Fourth of July, join us for the SDCEA Parade and Park Celebration. If you would like to participate in the parade, sign up at our Recreation Center. You can walk, make a float, drive a golf cart, or ride a horse. After the parade, the fun will continue in the park with music, a horseshoe tournament, and a kids’ zone.

The Recreation staff can't wait to see you all during the summer!
