EQUESTRIAN COMMITTEE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Are you interested in making a positive impact in your community? SDCEA is seeking one volunteer to serve on the Equestrian Committee (EC)
The EC is a 7-member committee with a position open to a member at large. The EC, with input of the manager, will discuss and formulate recommendations to the Board regarding the general maintenance level and aesthetics of the equestrian facilities; events and activities that will take place at the facilities; and methods to promote the facilities and activities. They will also assist in setting rates, policies and procedures for the facilities, and facility rules.
The committee meets once per month, on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, generally for two hours from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Rotunda at the International Equestrian Center.
EC members should be able to express themselves effectively while discussing subjects in a rational, polite, and professional manner with each other and other boarders and community members. Committee members are not required to be a boarder or an equestrian.
