Find Your Balance at Estates Yoga: Where Wellness Meets Serenity
A tranquil backyard studio turned thriving community hub, Estates Yoga offers more than classes—it’s a welcoming sanctuary where mindful movement, connection, and holistic wellness come together to help you reconnect, recharge, and truly find your balance.
At Estates Yoga, every session is more than just movement, it’s an experience designed to reconnect you with yourself. Nestled in a peaceful, inspiring environment, Jen Burch’s classes invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and rediscover your inner strength.
Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening a lifelong practice, you’ll be guided through intentional flows that blend mindfulness, strength, and relaxation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, encouraging you to let go of stress and fully embrace the present moment.
Burch moved from Ocean Beach to San Diego Country Estates with her family a year ago, began teaching yoga, and really immersed herself into the community. She has quite a following and her classes are moving.
“My husband found the house,” says Burch. Her husband, Travis supports her passion. They have four boys: Page (6), Pax (9), Phoenix (12), and Parker (14). She started practicing yoga 15 years ago. Burch teaches in the backyard of their tranquil home.
Her front living room has become and indoor shala, a dedicated space where yoga is taught and practiced when it is raining. On most days, the yoga is practiced in her private and peaceful backyard. Both men and women participate.
“People love what I am doing and want to be part of the collective,” says Burch. She loves the community she is immersed in and has a wonderful community circle. Her business has been open for seven months and she teaches every day except Sunday.
Yoga has many health benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety. Deep breathing and mindful movement calm the nervous system and promote mental clarity. Yoga improves flexibility and strength. Regular practice can increase mobility while building lean muscle and stability. It also enhances posture and strength. In addition, it helps align the body and strengthen core muscles, improving overall posture and boosts energy levels. Gentle flows and breathwork leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized. Supports heart health and can lower blood pressure and improve circulation. Relaxation techniques help quiet the mind and prepare the body for restful sleep. It encourages a mind-body connection and cultivates awareness, helping you feel more grounded and present.
Burch also sells her close friend Kelly West’s products, Earth Rituals. West carefully crafts products that are good for the body and soul, enriching your skin care routine. Burch shares these products with students and friends and has them displayed in her living room. “Kelly has a full line.” Burch likes to build up and showcase all the women in her life. Some are into Reiki, some are into sound healing, and numerology. “It’s more than just yoga,” says Burch. “We are trying to build organically.”
Her home is very welcoming and upstairs she has a library where she encourages guests to take, read, and return books. “I want to share the gift of yoga,” says Burch.
In a fast-paced world, Estates Yoga stands as a gentle reminder to slow down and reconnect—with your breath, your body, and your community. Through Jen Burch’s passion and welcoming spirit, this peaceful space has become more than a place to practice; it’s a place to belong, grow, and nurture true well-being from the inside out.
