Lora Morel: December’s Employee of the Month

Tiffany Pressler • December 12, 2024

As the year comes to a close, we are happy to celebrate Lora Morel as December’s employee of the month, honoring her hard work and holiday spirit that inspires us all.

Lora Morel joined the SDCEA team in June and is a snack bar attendant, preparing and serving food and drinks at the snack bar. She consistently excels in every project she takes on and always ensures her customers receive excellent care. In addition, she maintains the snack bar operation, decoration, and cleanliness.

According to her lead, Nim Miranda, Executive Assistant at San Diego Country Estates, “Lora has been full of surprises ever since she started working with us. She always has a great attitude towards her job. She always thinks outside the box and brings new and great ideas for the snack bar.”

Miranda says that Lora told her she loves the people at work. “Everyone is nice and greets each other in passing. The overall atmosphere is low-key, relaxing, and zero stress.” She loves working here and the people she works with.

Lora’s hobbies include writing, helping others, cooking, and watching birds. She has even published a few of her books. In her free time, she runs a non-profit organization that donates food to those in need. She has started donating food to our employees and would like to do it regularly.

“We are fortunate to have Lora as one of our employees. She has already amazed us with her work in less than six months. Thank you for being an outstanding employee of the month,” says Miranda.

Thank you, Lora, for making this holiday season even brighter for our team!
