New Year’s Eve: Bringing Back a Favorite for One Night Only

San Vicente Resort welcomed the New Year with the return of its beloved Make Your Own Pasta Night and a festive Countdown to 2026 celebration that drew a large crowd for an unforgettable evening.

For one special night only, San Vicente Resort brought back a guest favorite - its classic Make Your Own Pasta Night - as part of a lively New Year’s Eve celebration that blended exceptional dining, live music, and a joyful countdown to 2026. The event welcomed a large crowd, many of whom were delighted to see the much-loved dinner experience return for the holiday.

Executive Chef Ben Peterson, alongside Sous Chefs Chris Osterman and Jessica Nelson, led the culinary team in delivering a hands-on pasta dinner that allowed guests to customize their plates with a selection of pasta, premium meats, seafood, fresh vegetables, and house-made sauces. The experience captured the spirit of the evening, interactive, comforting, and celebratory, while reflecting the high standards guests have come to expect at San Vicente Resort.

Complementing the dinner, South Coast Winery poured featured wines throughout the evening, with Anna Said on hand to guide guests through pairings that elevated the dining experience and added a festive touch to the night.

As the evening continued, Natural Selection set the tone with an acoustic set during dinner service, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. As the night transitioned into the Countdown to 2026, the band shifted into a high-energy performance, filling the venue with music that invited guests to dance, celebrate, and toast the New Year together. The party portion of the evening featured light appetizers and a champagne toast at midnight, creating a seamless flow from dinner to celebration, with many guests staying through the final moments of the night.

Behind the scenes, Food & Beverage Front of House Manager Chuck Kast and Catering Manager Joyce Whelehon expertly managed décor, service, and guest flow, ensuring the entire New Year’s experience felt polished, welcoming, and memorable from start to finish.

With strong attendance, enthusiastic guest response, and the successful return of a cherished guest Make Your Own Pasta experience, New Year’s Eve at San Vicente Resort proved that some favorites are always worth bringing back, especially when shared together to welcome a new year.
