Reminder: Time to Upgrade Your Homeowner ID Cards

Thomas Campbell, Community Relations Supervisor • July 1, 2025

We have upgraded our system for easier ID card access — the old-style cards will be retired in July.

We’ve made improvements to our access control system, and it’s time to phase out the old equipment. If you’re still using an old ID card to access the pools or RV gates, please note that these cards will no longer work after July 31, 2025.

To avoid delays when you’re ready to enjoy our amenities, we encourage you to obtain your new homeowner ID card from the Community Relations Department at 15910 Avenel Lane, open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm (closed for lunch from 12 to 12:45 pm). No appointment necessary; come on by!

ID cards are available for household members ages 14 and up. Your new membership ID is free, with a processing fee for replacements.

  • What can you access with your card?
  • Homeowners can access the two community pools located at the San Vicente Resort and the Ramona Oaks Park.
  • Renters can access the RV storage lots.
  • You can also access the pickleball and tennis courts; you no longer need to make a reservation with Member-Guest Services.
  • Homeowners gain free entry to the annual Spring Clean event, which includes dump services.
  • Keep an eye out for exclusive deals throughout the year simply by showing your member ID.

If you have any questions, contact Community Relations at CRDdept@sdcea.net or call 760-789-8747.

Beat the summer rush and get your ID Cards as soon as possible. Old ID cards will be deactivated on July 31.
