Drille Divas and the San Vicente Saddle Club hosted enjoyable events.

A Very Special Diva Day

About 20 Equestrian enthusiasts attended the Very Special Diva Day last Saturday, April 20, at the International Equestrian Center. Drille Diva leader Sherie Levine organized an event for equestrians to share their passion in a creative and supportive environment with a flair for fun and camaraderie.

Morning activities included a variety of drille instructions and demonstrations in which the horse and rider moved together in various forms. Around noon, participants enjoyed a freshly made buffet lunch catered by Kitty Brisendine of Something Delicious and wine brought to the event by Elaine Lyttleton from Hatfield Creek Winery.

In the afternoon, "The Experience of Holistic Wellness" was the theme of the event. It featured Corrie Lynn Grufman - massage therapist, Shaylene Desma - Tarot Intuitive, and Alexa Kanj of Align Pilates and Wellness - sound healing.

Brightly colored surprise gift bags prepared by Sherie were given out at the end of the event, and guests left filled with the positive energy that was designed into all aspects of a Very Special Diva Day.

Thank you, Sherie, for creating an excellent equestrian experience.
