A Day of Family, Golf and Community
San Vicente’s Parent-Child Scramble brought 52 players together for a fun day of family, golf, friendly competition, and community.
San Vicente Resort welcomed 52 players to the course for the Parent-Child Scramble, bringing families together for a day filled with golf, laughter, friendly competition, and time spent together on the course.
The two-player scramble format was designed to give the children an important role on every hole, making sure their shots counted toward the team’s score. Each team was required to use at least four of the child’s drives and one of the child’s putts on each hole, giving the kids the opportunity to contribute throughout the entire round and making the event a true team experience.
Along with the friendly competition, players enjoyed prizes throughout the event. First through fourth place received gift cards of $80, $60, $40 and $20, respectively, while the Closest to the Pin winner received a $20 gift card. Every participant also went home with a sleeve of golf balls and a ball marker.
More than just a tournament, the Parent-Child Scramble was an opportunity for families to spend quality time together, encourage one another, and enjoy the game of golf as a team. Events like this help bring the San Vicente community together and create a welcoming environment where families can make memories both on and off the course.
