A Night to Celebrate: San Vicente Golf Club and The Players Club Members Gather for an Elegant Holiday Evening

San Vicente Golf Club members and The Players Club participants came together for an elegant holiday celebration that highlighted camaraderie, gratitude, and optimism for the year ahead.

Seventy-seven Golf Club members and participants celebrated the season at their annual holiday gathering last Saturday evening at San Vicente Resort. Guests arrived dressed in formal attire, an elegant departure from typical golf-course fashion, creating a rare opportunity to see more couples together rather than the familiar weekly men’s, women’s, or monthly couples’ golf play. The atmosphere felt festive, refined, and filled with holiday fun.

The evening began with a cocktail hour at the Par Lounge, where guests enjoyed two hosted drinks and appetizers, including a beautifully presented charcuterie board with thoughtfully paired selections and classic shrimp cocktail. Dinner followed in the San Vicente Room, where attendees were treated to a curated menu featuring a choice of red or white wine, a fresh salad course, and a banquet-style dinner highlighted by carving stations offering two selections of meat.

Social Chairwoman Robyn Bolitho welcomed guests with a brief address, thanking Member Holiday Party Committee members Kimberly Buckley and Toni Munsterman for their fabulous planning and decorations, and recognizing Catering Manager Joyce Whelehon for her leadership and bringing the vision to life.

Bolitho also acknowledged Golf Pro Matt Brumbaugh, Golf Course Superintendent Ben McBride, and their teams, thanking them for their dedication and outstanding work throughout 2025, as well as their continued commitment heading into 2026.

President Corinne Hill also addressed attendees, offering a warm welcome and recognized the Golf Club’s leadership and volunteers for their continued dedication. She reflected on the past year and shared her optimism for the year to come, emphasizing community, collaboration, and new opportunities.

After dinner, guests continued the celebration with live music by the Sha-Bang Band in the Par Lounge, bringing the evening to a lively and memorable close.
