Always Sunny, Ramona Senior Day Care Club Shines Brighter with New Services for the Community

Always Sunny, Ramona Senior Day Care Club is expanding its offerings for local families, bringing even more convenience and care closer to home. Known for their reliable service and friendly touch, the Ramona-based business has recently added new options designed to make everyday life easier for clients. From personalized support to flexible scheduling, these enhancements reflect their commitment to evolving alongside the needs of the community.

Always Sunny, Ramona Senior Day Care Club is an adult day program and caregiver respite. They are a small-town crew with big hearts, bringing sunshine into the lives of seniors and their families.

Deanna McMahon, Marketing Manager at Always Sunny, says the company is now offering a caregiver support group. Many family members and spouses of loved ones who receive care need an outlet to vent and discuss their frustrations, challenges, and wins. “We have been trying to champion this for a while,” says McMahon. The support group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month from 1:00 to 2:30 pm at Always Sunny. The next support group meeting is on October 23, and attendees do not need to RSVP; they just need to show up.

This monthly meet-up for caregiver support benefits those caring for an aging parent, spouse, or loved one. Caregiving can be both rewarding and exhausting, and some days caregivers may need a place where they can connect with people who understand what they’re going through. This group is a safe and welcoming space to share your story without judgment; feel heard, understood, and supported; and exchange tips and resources with others who are walking the same road. McMahon says, “You don’t have to do this alone. Come as you are—tired, hopeful, overwhelmed, or just curious.”

McMahon also wants to inform the community that Always Sunny is now offering in-home caregiving services as well. A caregiver can provide support for a few hours a day to those who need extra help in the comfort of their own home. She especially wants residents of San Diego Country Estates to be aware of this offering. She says that about half of their members live in SDCE, and many community members can benefit from this service.

Additionally, Always Sunny features a senior music hour on the first Monday of every month from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. The musician and guitarist, Dana Duplan, plays for an hour. McMahon says he plays familiar tunes from the seniors’ era, and folks usually get up and dance when the mood is right. Everyone is welcome to attend the music hour, and no RSVP is required. She hopes that families bring their loved ones who may be housebound and can benefit from getting out to enjoy the company of others while listening to music. She says it’s a connection for people and something fun to do.
