The Casey Tibbs Riders closed out the year with a festive awards ceremony and potluck that celebrated dedication, sportsmanship, and a growing equestrian community while looking ahead to an exciting season of expanded gymkhana events.

Holiday cheer was in full swing on Sunday, Dec. 14, as the Casey Tibbs riders gathered at Ramona Oaks Park for their 2025 awards ceremony potluck. With pizza boxes open, cake on the table, and a colorful spread of homemade dishes brought by members, the celebration felt joyful and welcoming. Laughter, conversation, and the spirit of the season filled the park as riders, families, and friends came together to enjoy good food, good company, and a well-earned moment to celebrate the year.

The award ceremony was a tribute to dedication, sportsmanship, and the spirit of horsemanship that the Casey Tibbs Riders embody. Riders of all ages were recognized for their outstanding races throughout the season. Each award was met with applause from the, crowd and the pride of the rider’s eyes reflected countless hours of hard work in the saddle.

The club had three events last year, and members and families alike are looking forward to ten gymkhana shows in 2026, from March through December, as the club grows.

The ceremony included special acknowledgement for volunteers whose support helped make this year a success. Their behind-the-scenes efforts play a vital role in creating a positive, welcoming environment where riders can learn, grow, and succeed.

It was a wonderful celebration of community, horses, and the joy of riding- a day that honored tradition while inspiring riders to aim even higher in the year ahead.
