Horsefeathers - August 2025: Renovations, Events, and Improvements

Marissa Travis, Equestrian Supervisor • September 2, 2025

The International Equestrian Center (IEC) and Casey Tibbs Western Center (CTWC) have exciting updates, from new barn renovations and sustainability efforts to upcoming rider events.

Barn C Renovation Complete at the IEC

We are excited to announce that Barn C at the IEC has been fully renovated and is now open for boarders. The upgraded barn features five in-and-out stalls and four 12x12 box stalls that can also be converted into two spacious 12x24 double stalls. This renovation enhances both comfort and flexibility for horses and their owners. We are now welcoming new boarders to the IEC, with a waitlist currently forming for in-and-out stalls.

Upcoming Event: Gymkhana

Location: Casey Tibbs Western Center

Date: Saturday, Sept. 13

Time: Gates open at 6:30 am | Start time is 8:30 am

Mark your calendars! CTWC will be hosting a gymkhana—a fun and competitive event for riders of all levels. Spectators are encouraged to attend and support our riders.

Well Float Testing Underway

Float tests on the wells at both of our equestrian facilities were planned for Tuesday, Sept. 2. These tests help ensure our wells are operating at full capacity and provide reliable, high-quality water for all of our horses and facilities.

We appreciate your patience during this routine maintenance.
