Chip in for Charity Golf Tournament to Support Ramona Students
Teeing off for a great cause, local golfers and community supporters are coming together this summer at San Vicente Golf Course to raise funds for Rancho Unified students through the annual Chip in for Charity tournament.
Golfers, local businesses, and community supporters are invited to tee off for a great cause at the upcoming Chip in for Charity FORUS Golf Tournament, sponsored by H5 Financial. The tournament will take place Thursday, June 11, at San Vicente Golf Course and will raise funds for Friends of Ramona Unified School, helping provide educational opportunities and enrichment programs for students throughout the Ramona Unified School District.
Set against the scenic backdrop of the San Diego Country Estates, the tournament is expected to bring together golfers from across Ramona and surrounding communities for a day of friendly competition, networking, and philanthropy. Organizers say the event is designed not only to create a fun experience on the course, but also to strengthen community support for local schools and students.
Participants will begin the day with check-in at 7 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, player swag bags, lunch, and dinner. Tournament organizers also plan to feature contests, prizes, and opportunities for sponsors to connect with attendees throughout the day.
Funds raised from the event will benefit programs supported by Friends of Ramona Unified School, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing educational experiences for local students. Community support helps fund classroom resources, student programs, teacher support initiatives, and other opportunities that may not otherwise be available through standard school funding.
The tournament is also an opportunity for local businesses and residents to become involved through sponsorships and donations. Organizers encourage community partners to participate and help make a lasting impact on education in Ramona.
Entry fees are $140 for individual golfers or $550 for a foursome. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses seeking community exposure while supporting a meaningful local cause.
