Summer kicks off this weekend with the return of SDCEA’s Concerts in the Park, featuring Blind Miles Blues, food, and a great night with neighbors.

The sounds of summer are returning to San Diego Country Estates. Beginning June 6, Ramona Oaks Park will once again come alive with live music, laughter, and community connection as the popular SDCEA Summer Concert Series kicks off another season of outdoor entertainment. Residents can look forward to warm evenings filled with great performances, delicious food, and the welcoming atmosphere that has made the concert series a favorite annual tradition.

The SDCEA Summer Concert Series invites residents to gather with friends, family, and neighbors for unforgettable evenings under the stars. From lawn chairs and picnic blankets spread across the grass to children dancing to the music and neighbors catching up between songs, the concert series has become a hallmark of summer life in the Estates.

This year's lineup promises a variety of musical styles sure to keep the crowd entertained throughout the season. The series opens with Blind Miles Blues on June 6, followed by Steal Dawn on June 20. The community's Independence Day celebration on July 4 will feature Black Canyon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing the perfect soundtrack for a festive holiday afternoon. Later performances include Dirty Confetti on July 18, BB & Company on August 1, and Rewind on August 15.

More than just a concert, each event offers an opportunity to celebrate the unique sense of community that makes San Diego Country Estates special. Residents can enjoy great food from The Oaks Grille and Outlaw BBQ while relaxing with family and friends in the beautiful setting of Ramona Oaks Park.

“This year’s concert will be different because our Oaks Grille will be cooking up hamburgers and hotdogs and we will be selling ice cream bars too,” says Amy Holsapple, SDCEA Recreation Manager. She said the music is what brings the community together and they have a great lineup and can’t wait to see everyone this summer for the concerts under the stars.

Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the neighborhood, the Summer Concert Series is a wonderful way to experience the welcoming spirit of the Estates. Bring your favorite lawn chair, pack a blanket, and settle in for an evening of live music, laughter, and community connection.

Concerts are held at Ramona Oaks Park, 25341 Pappas Road, with most performances running from 6 to 9 p.m. Attendees should bring a valid ID, and please note that dogs are not permitted at community events.

Summer is calling, and the soundtrack begins June 6. We look forward to seeing you there.
