Horsefeathers: Equestrian Facility Updates

Marissa Travis, Equestrian Supervisor • July 8, 2025

The Equestrian Team announces new dressage court improvements, jump arrivals, maintenance updates, and upcoming community forums for facility planning.

We’re excited to share that the new dressage court footing is complete, and new railings have been installed on Court #3. The court letters are still in transit, but once they arrive, Court #3 will have a complete set, along with new letters for Court #2.

Our beautiful new jumps have also arrived at IEC—be sure to stop by and check them out!

On the maintenance side, the hotwalker at Casey Tibbs is no longer functional. The Equestrian Committee discussed their recommendations during their monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 8.

The water truck has been repaired, which is essential for maintaining the arenas. We cannot safely drag the arenas without watering, as it would damage the footing. We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide updates if the truck is down for an extended period in the future.

We also invite you to attend one or both of the upcoming community forums to share your ideas and feedback about the future of the equestrian facilities. Forums will be held on Saturday, July 12, from 10 am – 12 pm and Monday, July 14, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Rotunda. All homeowners, boarders, and equestrian community members are encouraged to join the conversation.

See flyer for more information.
