January’s Employee of the Month: Tim Smith

Tiffany Pressler • January 16, 2025

As the new year tees off, we recognize Tim Smith as January’s employee of the month. He joined the team on August 9, 2021, and is known for his dedication and his passion for people and golf.

Tim Smith has been a driving force at the San Vicente Golf Resort. He works in the Golf Shop, and his duties include customer service and sales. He also answers the phone and runs the tee time sheet. He is skilled at assisting customers in selecting the right equipment, apparel, and accessories while providing a friendly shopping experience. His expertise ensures every customer finds what they need to enhance their game.

His lead, Matt Brumbaugh, Head Golf Pro, says Smith has outstanding energy and customer service. Brumbaugh adds that Smith has especially excelled in Junior Golf Instruction and membership sales.

When Smith isn’t at the Golf Shop, he spends his time out on the greens perfecting his golf game or playing softball. He really enjoys the San Diego Country Estates Association environment and working with the staff and customers.

Thank you, Tim Smith, for your hard work and for setting such a great example for everyone. Here’s to a fantastic start to 2025 with you leading the way!
