Continued progress on important projects

The Mare Motel footing project has been completed. A temporary drain has been created right behind the stalls to allow water to flow away from the stalls until a more permanent solution can be accomplished.

The first corral hay shed has been assembled at the Mare Motel. Several more have been ordered, and we are developing an assembly plan. We will be working with boarders individually to build and move into new sheds. If you are in corrals at the IEC and would like to keep your existing shed, please contact management for the appropriate form.

The IEC barn hay storage is complete and looks great. Lights will be added to the outside entrances, and wagons will be available to carry hay to your horses. After completion, we will have a 30-day moving period to allow everyone to shift over to their new spaces and remove any existing sheds. If more time or assistance is needed, please contact management, and we will do as much as we can to assist.

We have been working on repairs to the concrete outside of the Rotunda and are planning repairs for the asphalt throughout the barns and barn entrances/wash rack areas at both facilities.

The creek area behind Casey Tibbs was completed following all the rains this year.

The manure boxes at IEC have been repaired and sealed.

Weeding is underway, with the team working hard on the infield. We have been able to move the trail course back into the pond area and will be working on adding jumps to the infield this coming month.

It is rattlesnake season, and a couple have already been spotted at the IEC. Please be alert and careful as you and your horse move around the facility. If a rattlesnake is spotted, please contact management.
