At the IEC, the Mare Motel is undergoing renovations, an emergency fire access road has been graded, and all the barns are being reroofed this month. Also, join us for equestrian holiday events this month.

This month's main project has been renovating the Mare Motel at the IEC. We have graded the area in the front and back of the stalls to allow rain to fall away from the stalls. The bridge leading to the Mare Motel has been widened to meet county fire requirements, and the electrical lines were reburied leading over the bridge and up to the Mare Motel. We are currently working to hook up the water to the wash rack, rebuild the manure box, and reinstall the stairs.

An emergency fire access road has been graded, leading from the entrance of the IEC onto the track. This will allow for a smoother flow of traffic in the event of an emergency. All traffic may now enter through the front of the IEC and follow counterclockwise past the barns to the exit. This will allow for much easier access during fire and emergency evacuations.

Our upcoming project is reroofing all barns at the IEC. We are planning to begin this project in December.

We are collaborating with the committee on ordering new jumps, proposing updates to the equestrian rules, and updating the camera license agreement.
