Pat Garrity: June’s Employee of the Month

Tiffany Pressler • June 11, 2025

We are proud to recognize Pat Garrity, our Community Specialist in the Community Relations Department, as Employee of the Month for June. This month marks the start of summer, and we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate Pat. She joined the team on May 18, 1989, and has been a consistent and dedicated presence in our community, bringing many years of experience, professionalism, and heart to everything she does.

In her role, Pat effectively and resourcefully communicates with owners, tenants, and guests of the lots and resort. She facilitates requests of any nature to the respective staff member, committee, or Board of Director member. She also offers insight and clarification on SDCEA governing documents, assists Inspectors and supervisors with accomplishing daily Community Relations workflow, and assists in RV lot storage logistics.

“Through over three decades of development and decisions that had to be made both as a person and an employee, she has decided for 36 years to make SDCEA her priority, and the least I can do is make sure Pat is recognized for that commitment and the value she offers,” says her supervisor Thomas Campbell, CRD Supervisor. Campbell adds that Pat excels in any project she is asked to help with. She always gives her best and makes a real difference.

When she’s not working, Pat enjoys gardening, a peaceful pastime that reflects the same care and attention she brings to her work. When asked what she enjoys most about her role, she shared that it’s the people in the office and the wide variety of owners she interacts with who make her job truly fulfilling.

Pat’s dedication over the years has helped shape the culture and care that define the SDCEA. Her steady presence, generous spirit, and commitment to excellence have touched the lives of countless coworkers and community members. We are honored to recognize her this month and grateful for every day that she has been part of our team. Congratulations, Pat Garrity, on being our June Employee of the Month.
