Congratulations to the Championship winners.

The San Vicente Woman’s Golf Association (SVWGA) Club Championship Tournament took place over four days of competition on May 7, 9, 14, and 16. The ladies competed against other skilled players and enjoyed camaraderie with friends made over the years.


The winners were announced on Thursday, May 16, and an awards lunch was held at The Oaks Grille.


Basia Casara:                           SVWGA Club Champion

Virginia Pollack:                      Super Senior Club Champion

Joyce Whitehead:                   Senior Club Champion

Penny Fowler:                          Green Tee Champion

Putting with Purpose: Dan Reed Memorial Tournament Supports Tunnel to Towers Foundation

The Dan Reed Memorial Golf Classic, held on May 30, raised over $40,000 and united community members, first responders, and military personnel to honor the legacy of firefighter Dan Reed. The event supported the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which is inspired by the guiding principle: “Do the Right Thing.”

The 2025 San Vicente Women’s Golf Championship celebrated three days of spirited competition, culminating in Cathy Knowles claiming the Club Champion title alongside fellow winners Nancy Berger, Virginia Krieger, and Corinne Hill.
