Swing, Sip & Socialize: Ladies Nine & Wine at San Vicente

Cheryl Schlauch • May 1, 2025

Bringing together new faces and lifelong friends, the Nine & Wine golf event at San Vicente is all about building connections, boosting confidence on the course, and celebrating the simple joys of golf and great company.

Ladies, ever dreamt of a carefree golf outing where nobody’s watching your slice? Say hello to Ladies Nine & Wine—the perfect blend of friendly fairways and fun times! Hosted by the San Vicente Women’s Golf Club on the beautiful San Vicente Golf Course, this weekly event is all about enjoying fresh air, making new friends, and learning a little golf along the way. Nine & Wine has been ongoing for many years. Events are open to the public, homeowners, and members, of course.

When & Where

  • Every Thursday at 2 pm (day may change seasonally)
  • Meet at the San Vicente Golf Course Golf Shop

What to Expect

  • Nine relaxed holes of golf with a shared cart—only $25!
  • Friendly faces: 37 enthusiastic women (and counting) who cheer each other on.
  • No experience needed! Beginners learn the basics, while intermediate players fine-tune their swing.

After-Game Cheers
Once your round wraps up, head to the Par Lounge for a glass of wine, a cold drink, or a light lunch. Swap stories about that unexpected bunker shot, compare putting tips, or simply laugh under the warm California sun.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Welcoming atmosphere: Nobody’s rushing you—and nobody’s judging.
  • Supportive community: Share tips, celebrate birdies, and bond over every slice and putt.
  • Flexibility: Join when you can—no golf membership is required.

Grab your shoes, invite a friend, and tee off into an afternoon of camaraderie, sunshine, and a little wine. Ladies Nine & Wine isn’t just golf; it’s a weekly chance to swing, sip, and socialize with like-minded women on the green. We can’t wait to see you there!
