Horsefeathers: Enhancements and Updates for Equestrian Facilities

Lisa Everett, Equestrian Manager • January 29, 2025

Exciting upgrades are underway, improving riding areas and facilities to enhance the equestrian experience.

Equestrian Facilities Projects:

  • The water feature has been transformed into an inverted bank and is now open for riding. Plans are in progress to restore a water feature to the infield in the future through collaboration between the Equestrian Committee and management.
  • The trail course has been relocated to the area beyond the dressage courts.
  • Barrels have been repositioned to the opposite side of the infield, enabling riders to gallop the pattern without impacting dressage court footing.
  • Dressage Court 2 and the jump arena have undergone professional footing enhancements, significantly improving their condition.
  • Dressage Court 2 has been restored to full size, while Court 3 is partially operational with ongoing footing work.
  • Round pen panels have been delivered, with reinstallation scheduled shortly.

Roofing Project:

  • Roofing repairs for Barns D, E, and F are complete. Fascia replacement will be painted after the entire project concludes.
  • Barns A, B, and C repairs are scheduled from January 31 to February 11.
  • Barns G, H, and the maintenance shop repairs are scheduled from February 17 to February 22.
