Jump into Swimming Fun at the Ramona Oaks Park Pool

Heather McGhee • May 16, 2024

Renovations were completed at Ramona Oaks Park Pool earlier this month, welcoming swimmers back on Saturday, May 4.

Our newly renovated community pool is ready to make a splash, so get your suits ready and join us for a refreshing swim.

The pool is open Sunday – Saturday: Classes from 8 - 11 am, Open Swim from 11 am – 6 pm. Pool Closes at 6 pm. Please bring your Homeowner ID.

The decades-old pool deck was cleaned and resurfaced with an epoxy coating, which is more visually appealing than concrete, offers non-slip qualities, and protects the underlying concrete.

The landscape was also refreshed and simplified. Old plants were removed, and a garden was cultivated around the perimeter of the pool. The old concrete and rock area—possibly an original fountain 50 years ago but long since abandoned—was removed, and a new retaining wall around the oak tree was installed by landscape staff. Fresh sod was added for a larger seating area on the grass. Planting includes native grasses, abelia shrubs and gazanias for a pop of color.
