May's Home of the Month: Luxurious Upgrades and Breathtaking Views

Ross and Erin Cook's dream home is awarded Home of the Month for May.

Ross and Erin Cook have been SDCE residents since 2005, but it was only 4 years ago that they found their dream home on La Plata Court. "When this property became available, we knew we wanted it to be our ‘forever home’ and began renovating throughout." Now, almost 4 years into the project, their home features numerous upgrades, including unique stone tile, a new fireplace, aquariums and a new kitchen and bathrooms with touch-free controls, lighting, and automated steam showers.

Most recently, their attention has turned to the front of the property, where they have begun renovations to create a beautiful and sustainable landscape. Stone, rose gardens, water fountains, new turf and robins-egg white rock have all been added to conserve water and create a gorgeous outdoor space that complements the home's interior.

Even with the luxurious upgrades made to their home, the couple say the view is their favorite feature. With 270-degree views of the golf course, the property offers a breathtaking panorama of San Diego Country Estates. Amidst the stunning surroundings, life on La Plata is peaceful and quiet, allowing the Cook family to enjoy the friendships they've made with their neighbors. Congratulations, Ross and Erin, for being awarded Home of the Month for May.
