Guiding Juniors to Golf Success
Our 2024 PGA Jr. League began last month, and 32 junior players aged 6 – 13 are participating. Teams compete in a 2-person scramble format during their matches held on Wednesday evenings. Practices are also held once a week.
The purpose of the Jr. PGA Golf program is to introduce young players to the game of golf, develop their skills, promote sportsmanship, and provide opportunities for competitive play, ultimately fostering a lifelong love and appreciation for the sport.
Jr. PGA Leagues are designed for junior golfers of all skill levels, from the “new junior golfer” to more advanced players. Juniors work on the fundamentals of their golf game each week including putting, chipping, bunkers, driving, and irons.
Coaches have noted that these junior golfers work to improve their skills every week.
Thanks to our coaches, Fred Arcaina, Sergio Saucedo, Tim Smith, and Cody Snyder, for making the Jr. PGA League fun in a learning environment with me.

The Dan Reed Memorial Golf Classic, held on May 30, raised over $40,000 and united community members, first responders, and military personnel to honor the legacy of firefighter Dan Reed. The event supported the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which is inspired by the guiding principle: “Do the Right Thing.”
