Equestrian Committee – Volunteer Opportunity

Are you interested in making a positive impact in your community? SDCEA is seeking one volunteer to serve on the Equestrian Committee (EC).

The EC is a 7-member committee with a position open to a member at large. The EC, with the manager's input, will discuss and formulate recommendations for the Board regarding the general maintenance level and aesthetics of the equestrian facilities, as well as events and activities that will take place at the facilities, and methods to promote them. They will also assist in setting rates, policies, and procedures for the facilities, as well as facility rules. 


The committee meets once a month, on the second Tuesday of the month, generally for two hours from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Rotunda at the International Equestrian Center. 


EC members should be able to express themselves effectively while discussing subjects in a rational, polite, and professional manner with each other and other boarders and community members. Committee members are not required to be a boarder or an equestrian.
