July Horsefeathers: Moving Forward on Key Projects

Lisa Everett, Equestrian Manager • July 31, 2025

The Equestrian Team is making strides on a master plan while continuing upgrades at both the International Equestrian Center and Casey Tibbs Western Center.

The Equestrian Committee has been hard at work this season, actively progressing toward a comprehensive master plan for our equestrian facilities. Two well-attended community forums were held earlier this month, and feedback was productive and positively received. The committee will continue to engage the community and refine the plan that will shape the future of equestrian life here.

Over at the International Equestrian Center (IEC), renovations on Barn C are well underway. The walls are nearly complete, and the paddocks are expected to be finished within the next two weeks, offering a refreshed and more functional space for boarders and their horses.

At the Casey Tibbs Western Center (CTWC), Arena 2 has recently received footing improvements, with a full rebalance and refresh completed to ensure safer, more consistent performance for riders.

Adding to the excitement, new jumps have arrived at the IEC and are now available for use in the jump arena, further enhancing training opportunities and rider experience.

Together, these upgrades represent an important investment in our equestrian community and reflect a continued commitment to equine care and amenities.
