The San Diego Country Estates Association is proud to congratulate Missi Stone for being our second quarter’s Volunteer of the Quarter. She is a dedicated equestrian whose passion for horses is matched only by a deep commitment to the community.
We are proud to recognize Pat Garrity, our Community Specialist in the Community Relations Department, as Employee of the Month for June. This month marks the start of summer, and we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate Pat. She joined the team on May 18, 1989, and has been a consistent and dedicated presence in our community, bringing many years of experience, professionalism, and heart to everything she does.

Board & Governance
SDCEA is looking to fill a vacancy on the Environmental Control Committee (ECC). The ECC is a 3-member committee established by Article IV of the CC&Rs, to ensure that all improvements on lots within the Association meet the standards outlined in the governing documents.
We have upgraded our system for easier ID card access — the old-style cards will be retired in July.

May brought exciting progress at the Equestrian Centers, including the promotion of Marissa Travis to Equestrian Supervisor, essential tree trimming, the installation of a new well tank, and ongoing mowing and weeding.
San Vicente Resort - Golf
The 11th Annual Connie Sparks Memorial and Chris Martinez Open brought together families, friends, and golfers to raise funds for cancer and ALS research, continuing a heartfelt legacy of service and remembrance at San Vicente Golf Resort.
The Dan Reed Memorial Golf Classic, held on May 30, raised over $40,000 and united community members, first responders, and military personnel to honor the legacy of firefighter Dan Reed. The event supported the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which is inspired by the guiding principle: “Do the Right Thing.”
The 2025 San Vicente Women’s Golf Championship celebrated three days of spirited competition, culminating in Cathy Knowles claiming the Club Champion title alongside fellow winners Corinne Hill, Nancy Berger, and Virginia Krieger.

Three Hills Winery, nestled in the heart of Ramona's wine country, offers wine enthusiasts a serene and inviting atmosphere. Owned and operated by Tobias and Carrie Panek, this family-run vineyard spans nine acres, including three acres of vineyards and a picturesque one-acre lake surrounded by shade trees.
Singer-songwriter Ashley E Norton and Marcia Claire celebrated their birthday dressed in pink at the Par Lounge on Wednesday, February 26, featuring the Smoking Cannon Brewery. This was the San Vicente Resort's first craft beer tasting this year.

Ramona Happenings

Ramona Cruise nights have begun, and Thursday, May 1, marked the first of four cruise nights through SDCE this season. Car lovers and families alike can enjoy an evening of nostalgia and neighborly connection while watching vintage vehicles roll through the Estates in a celebration of Ramona’s small-town charm.
Barrel racers from across Southern California gathered at the Ramona Rodeo Arena on Sunday, April 13, for a thrilling day of speed, skill, and camaraderie. With about 100 competitors and $500 added to the pot, the event showcased the heart and hustle of a passionate rodeo community.
Last weekend, the two-day Ramona Artist Open Studios Tour invited art lovers, creatives, and curious visitors to explore the vibrant artistic community nestled in the heart of Ramona.
